I never leave the house without this Essential Oil!

Peppermint Essential oil was one of the first oils I ever bought. It has so many wonderful benefits and has helped me in a pickle more times than I could count.
Here are just 4 reasons why I don't leave the house without it!
1. Helps Indigestion, Nausea, and Upset Stomach
Peppermint oil is a natural alternative to anti-bloating drugs and reduces spasms of the colon. It works by relaxing the muscles of your intestines, which can also reduce gas. You can place several drops on your stomach with a carrier oil such as coconut oil or jojoba oil and massage it in. Use a few drops of peppermint oil on your wrists or abdomen to help you combat your nausea. *Please test a little on your wrist before you use it to make sure you don't have any reaction to it. Peppermint is very strong and has a cooling a tingling sensation. Please dilute it with a carrier oil such as rosehip oil . One drop of peppermint goes a long way!
2. Helps with Headaches
Peppermint oil improves circulation and relaxes tensed muscles. Muscle tension often causes long-lasting headaches and migraines. The use of peppermint oil has been recognized to lessen symptoms such as nausea and vomiting as well as sensitivity to noise or light. Use a little bit of carrier oil such as jojoba oil with a drop of peppermint. You can rub it on your temples, forehead, over the sinuses, and on the back of the neck. It will help soothe a headache and pressure. When applied topically, peppermint oil leaves a soothing, cooling sensation that works wonders.
3. Freshens Breath
Known and tried for thousands of years, peppermint has been used to freshen breath naturally. You can also add a drop of peppermint under your tongue. Please make sure the brand you get is safe to ingest. I love this Breath spray it's already blended with a cool fresh blast of Peppermint extract and other herbs and it's Certified Organic.
4. Raises Energy Levels & Focus
Peppermint oil raises energy levels, improves focus capabilities and also improves mental clarity. For those with chronic fatigue syndrome, peppermint oil may improve concentration. Try rubbing a bit of oil under the nose to get some help with concentration and alertness. Apply some to the back of your neck and shoulders to improve your focus. You can also spray some peppermint oil in your workspace. If you are heading to the gym after work, inhaling it before a workout or yoga can help boost your mood and reduce fatigue.
